WinFlip is a free program that provides a Flip 3D alternate window-switcher to the standard Alt-Tab. Winflip displays all open windows in a 3D stack, which the user can flick through and select using either keyboard or mouse.

1. A feature of the Aero interface that displays the desktop and all open applications as 3D images of the current windows. Pressing the Windows key + Tab key invokes Flip 3D, and continually.
2. Those platforms with Windows Aero had the Flip 3D Alt + Tab window switcher. Nevertheless, you can still add some 3D effects to Windows 10 with T3Desk 2015. T3Desk 2015 is software that adds 3D to desktop windows. With T3Desk you can then flip and rotate the windows on your desktop.

I must say that the usual Alt-Tab is the fastest and most convenient way to do your job quickly, but WinFlip 3d switch is fun – and it works great.

The good news is that WinFlip does not replace the standard Alt-Tab switch, it just provides a new option; you can have both ways available to use at will.

Note that the program works as it should on Windows XP, but you can also try on later versions, until 7. I’ve tried on Windows 10 and it works even there, but you are not able to use the original shortcut and you will also be seeing some useless black windows. Let’s hope someone something that works better on Windows 10.
